These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the MANWRD mobile application, website and related services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

MANWRD is operated by Circle of Nine Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 14648127 and registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. In these Terms, "MANWRD", "we", "us" and "our" mean Circle of Nine Ltd. You can contact us at hello@manwrd.com.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, using the Service or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use MANWRD. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. MANWRD is designed for men, but these Terms apply to every person who uses the Service.

4. What MANWRD is and is not

MANWRD provides AI-supported coaching, reflection and motivational tools. It is not a medical, mental-health, therapeutic, emergency, legal, financial or other professional advisory service. The Mentor does not diagnose conditions, provide treatment or replace a qualified professional.

Do not rely on MANWRD for an emergency. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis-support provider without delay.

AI-generated responses can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. Use your own judgement and obtain professional advice where appropriate.

5. Your account

• Keep your sign-in details confidential and do not allow another person to use your account.
• Tell us promptly at hello@manwrd.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it is caused by our failure to keep the Service secure.
• We may ask you to verify your email address or take reasonable steps to protect the Service and its users.

6. AI processing

MANWRD uses AI technology supplied by Anthropic to generate Mentor responses. When you use the chat, your messages and relevant saved memories may be processed by Anthropic as explained in the Privacy Policy. Before you can use chat, we will present a separate AI Processing Notice and ask you to acknowledge it.

Do not provide information that you do not want processed in this way. You may control saved memories in Settings, but turning memory off does not remove conversation history already stored or stop the text of new chat messages being processed to provide the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use MANWRD to:

• break the law, infringe another person's rights, or encourage wrongdoing;
• threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate or deliberately harm another person;
• upload or submit material you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to access another account, interfere with the Service, bypass limits or test the Service in a way that creates a security or cost risk;
• use the Service to create or distribute malware, fraud, sexual content involving minors, violent extremist content or instructions for serious wrongdoing;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Service except where law does not allow us to restrict that activity.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to MANWRD. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and use that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service, provide responses, enforce these Terms and meet legal obligations. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our live systems, except where retention is required by law or records remain in provider backups for their normal retention period.

9. Intellectual property

The MANWRD name, app, website, visual identity, software, curated modules and other Service materials are owned by or licensed to Circle of Nine Ltd and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable and non-commercial right to use the Service in line with these Terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, prevent fraud or enforce these Terms. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, explain the reason. You can stop using MANWRD at any time and can delete your account in the app.

11. Service availability

We aim to keep MANWRD available and reliable, but do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at every time. We may change, maintain, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary. We will not make a change that materially reduces a paid feature during a current paid period unless required for security, law or technical reasons, or we provide a suitable alternative.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, losses caused by your misuse of the Service, or business losses where you use the Service as a consumer.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security or our business. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
